    Bustin makes me feel good.

  2. Riou EQResource

You just got something saying they hired more designers for EQ1 instead, which is better news, since a yearly expansion is guaranteed unless they were to lay off like 90% of the team

Payday loan wasn't my best joke, I'll admit it.

The taco bell comparison cracked me up. No judgement here, I want to go to taco bell and gorge on chalupas and pass out.

There are no more chalupas, I ate them all last night All of them, every chalupa that has ever existed, and every chalupa that will ever exist, is in my belly. Sorry dude.

Toco Bell is where you go when you are constipated. Not sure how anyone can compare that to an EQ expansion. Please explain.
  7. Tucoh Augur

Your posts increase near expansion releases, causing constipation.

A whisper on the wind told me it's going to be Luclin-based...which comes as a shock to absolutely no one.

If they hold to form from past years, CoV should go on sale sometime in September. I suspect we'll get a teaser preview of the new expansion at that time as well.

I thought I was the only one that ate there for that reason. Beats those stupid pills.

They are finally going to add alternative Luclin 2.0 models, Shissar as a playable race, implement a massive AA consolidation to eliminate the whack a mole craziness that's taken over, and it'll be like TSS with a fresh path to level 1-120. OR... they'll just add like 6 old zones with a new look and spin on things.

I think the days of expansions with "new" zones are long gone. They may add one or two "from scratch" zones, if they feel like it, but I think it's revamp city from here on out. Which is a shame, since there's two decades worth of lore and storylines to build off of, but they instead choose to just do retreads of stuff that's already there.

TBL was the exception in the "new vs. revamp" war, but it was a dumpster fire content-wise.

TBL is one of my favorite expansions of all time. I loved the challenges, the anti-boxing stuff included, and especially the magic carpets. More progression please.

What does that have to do with anything? Corporate strategy has nothing to do with where the company's employees live or where the physical office is located.

I mean, being based out of San Diego one would presume that the majority of their staff lives in San Diego. That place has a high cost of living.

So if their expansion sales allows them to pay their employees 50k a year and 50k a year does not cut it in San Diego, then the company may fold.

If they raise the price and can generate more revenue to pay their employees 80k a year and that is livable in San Diego, they do that.

I suppose they could move to a lower cost of living state like West Virginia or Arkansaa, where 50k a year there is a huge difference than 50k in San Diego.

It would be nice to have some discount for box accounts. 10% for your first box, 20% your second, all the way to 50% for five or more boxes.

I realize they will never do it. But I do wonder how much additional revenue (or lost revenue, if that sale doesn't generate additional box purchases to offset the sale loss on the initial box) would happen if that does go into effect

If its 50% ill buy a few but if not whats the point ? 10-20% is nothing you might as well wait and preorder whatever new expansion comes out.

I'll give you one thing: The higher cost of living means they can hire fewer total employees.
  18. Accipiter Old Timer

That would be great for us regular boxers. However, there are people who pay (by krono most likely) for dozens of accounts. We wouldn't want them getting a break now, would we? That would further enrage the Karens.

Give us a lifetime sub sale this Xmas and I'll buy two.
  20. Cicelee Augur

That is what you want? Fewer employees??

We don't get much as it is with the staff they have, who is all working hard and over working what they do. And you want fewer people for less content?

I speak for everyone when I say I am glad you are not in charge of the decision making process
