We've all read about ideas like Level-Locked, seasonal Agnarr feeder, and a host of other TLP ideas, so here are some fresh ones! Hopefully others can add to this list: Bait Masterson server - Fish up awesome loot from rotating water areas Niami Denmother server - Tradeskill items added or buffed up to raid level Doug server - Human is only playable race Undertow server -- all zones are now fully underwater, and all races have evolved innate enduring breath
Oooh, fun ideas. Fippy Darkpaw server - Every NPC in every zone is Fippy Darkpaw. People will know who ruined their own lands, and who doesn't want them to ruin theirs.
RoboCop server - Only Half-Elf Bards allowed, new models disabled. Once you see the helm you'll know what I'm talking about.
Server of Mischief - All zone connections and ports go to a random zone, every time. Help me, I can't stop having bad ideas!
Mangler clone with Veeshan randomly flying through outdoor zones, periodically wiping everything in her path. All quests having innate 30% failure rate (including epics). 25% chance per transaction a vendor is shady and takes your items/cash without giving you anything in return. Make /consent default looting rights to other PCs again (disable the auto consent options).
Open race class combinations with Zeb wandering around Norrath(permanently) like he does after you release him.... until players clear PoTime, at which point zeb can go to his standard 'some unleashed him, 2h of noob pwning' and kerafyrm(crystallos version) gets to take his place wandering norrath. etc.
Sirran the Lunatic server - have kos bunnies in every zone that attack both pc's and npc's and in general cause havoc. Can also have periods of time where all text is backwards.
"Gnomercy" Server All player Classes are available as Gnomes and all of the other races are now hostile npc who want to eat you. Every class starts with Jboots as standard and illusion items & spells are banned, go Gnome or go home. "Ogre iz da bestest" Server All player classes are available as Ogres and all of the other races are now hostile NPC who don't want to get eaten by you. No Jboots, no illusions but you get a free shrink item to start with and a lifetime supply of skewers for roasting all those shorties, the only food items you can craft in game require meat from the other races.
AARPG style dropped loot. Allowing players to farm/xp anywhere they prefer similar to defiant fear but any loot table for the zone.
xp is only awarded the first time you kill a mob from any given spawn point/table. If you want to keep gaining xp, you must move. Adjust xp gain so that you can get all your levels and aa's by killing 90% of all the spawn points in the expansion. Finding them all will be half the battle.
Idea 1. Clarissa Explains It All server. - GM's are all called Clarissa and are auto-summoned to your camp/zone just by /petition Idea 2: Vanessa White server. Have a wheel of fortune graphic in the lower corner that at random moments auto-spins and rewards your gameplay with all-new server-side features like: - "Lag spike!" - "LD can't get into server menu - 1 hour." - "Zone reset! All loot lost" - "Cleric was actually an AI bot and ninja logged!" - "LD death loop de-level, 20 minutes!"
PoP+ (like wow mythic+ dungeons and guildwars2 fractals) Planes of power locked TLP but when druzzil ro turns back time it unlocks a higher difficulty of PoP for the raid (not just time). Bosses get stronger and have new effects Flagging is simplified just kill all of each tier bosses to get to next tier (base game is unchanged). Pop+ gear adds a unique aug slot, bosses and trash drop augs with stats/effects based on the difficulty level. These augs only have stats in planes of power zones. Agent of change lets you make a zone with any difficulty you have unlocked, anyone can join regardless of their pop level after beating PoT once but they will only progress on their personal lvl. Can make this everquest's next expansion and have it scale all the way to live but also playable on a tlp $$$.
