I have like 44k achievement points, I put effort into it, just not as much as some. I'm posting against my own best interest. When you add a stat source into the game, for example the Artisan Prize, players will feel obligated to work on it regardless of whether they raid or by how casually they play the game. For the VAST majority of EQ'ers, grinding Achievements in any way is a chore worthy of uninstalling the game. Is that worth adding stats to grinding chieves so a few hundred try-hards can get something out of this? My opinion is no. Give us real content to gain power from, not the senseless slaughter of Grey con mobs, which is largely what achievements really are.
