However, if it were an item irl, a young male (or immature adult male /raise hand) could conceivably manipulate it in a way to resemble a phallus.

Would this item be "softish" like chunk of meat instead of hard like a ruby?

It's not hard like a ruby, but it's all not softish or squishy like a chunk of meat.
