Proposed QoL Epic 1.0 Changes

So at the end of the bard epic, the Lute is tradeable, is that epic SUPPOSED to be sold then? I don't think there is much logic backing up your points here. More of you being upset at how other people might choose to use their krono/time and wanting it removed because disagree with it.

Cannot tell if you intentionally named 1 of the only pieces of the cleric epic that is not Multi-quested for krono.

The person who loots the Gimblox Ring is the one that has to loot the 4 pearls at the end.

The gimblox ring is always farmed by people selling the MQs. The simplest way to sell cleric epic , until this patch, was to farm the entire epic and then farm a 2nd bloody robe. You give the person buying the epic the robe to turn in for 1 orb, you already have the other 2 which includes gimblox and pearls, and you finish it right there on the spot in timmy. If you're chain farming these (which in my experience the people selling always are) you'd just eat only the 1 robe double farmed and then always have a gimblox ready. For a more casual seller, you could theoretically resolve your extra first orb you double farmed by having a 2nd epic recipient loot their own singed scroll. Both of these methods are now gone.

Fixing natasha was the biggest and best thing, and slapping nodrop on the bloody should cut into the ease of sale. From what I can see, unless there is a lot also blocked and not listed, its possible to still get it for someone but they'll need to be piggybacked through a lot. Which frankly is ideal - it means your alt or guildmate can be hooked up still if you need to while the sellers have a massive headache. Perfect.

I feel like you guys are mixing up gimblox ring and the lord berg crown.

The way the gimblox ring gets turned in is pretty weird and there is no way to avoid having whoever loots the ring, be the one who gets the container for the 4 pearls.

--Kill trash mobs in Skyfire Mountains until you collect four(4) Pearlescent Fragments. Combine them in Zordak's Box of Bindings to create an Assembled Pearlescent Shard
--Bring a raidforce and give the Assembled Pearlescent Shard to Warder Cecilia in Skyfire. Receive Pearlescent Seal.
--Zordakalicus Ragefire will spawn. Kill him and loot the Impure Heart of Zordak Ragefire.
--Combine the Pearlescent Seal and Swirling Pearl inside of the Impure Heart of Zordak Ragefire to create Heart of Zordak Ragefire.


I highlighted the important parts. You can see how the person who loots the gimblox ring really has no way to "Multiquest" it like you guys think is going on.

So, while yes, people are selling the entire epic quest, you guys are probably mixing up which piece is being sold as multiquest. Gimblox ring is the worst piece to farm on random box toons because whichever toon loots the ring has to loot the 4 pearls. The berg crown, on the other hand, was easily turned into the tradable robe (which just changed). But, even with the change, I believe not much has changed in terms of people being able to multi-quest the epic by farming a robe for the buyer.

The person who loots the gimblox ring IS selling the multiquest. He is also farming pearls and killing ixi/king/zordak and effectively doing the whole epic. Then he is giving the buyer a bloody robe and that person turns in the robe for an orb, then turns in the orb after gimblox farmer turned in the other 2, then turning in for the epic, all in timmy. Nobody selling cleric epics is NOT farming gimblox. The cleric epic seller might even have been a bloody robe buyer... but always always always was a gimblox farmer.

RIP classic experience. Might as well just spawn with epic in hand at this point.

It's literally impossible to recreate the "classic" experience. Everything about these quests is known. By definition, redoing something will be different than your original experience. Don't bother using that strawman.

Also, classic experience is trash. Take off the rose-colored glasses. It was a bugged riddled mess.

Seems like the latest epic changes have made all the right people salty.

The entire accomplishment of epics is be able to get them before other people. If everyone can get them, they aren't epic.

Nobody is saying it is perfectly classsic, it isnt. Its been being gutted due to whiners for years. And now its finally gone completely.

None of these changes made the cleric epic easier to do. Other epics got that treatment. These changes made it harder to purchase and/or steal. The quest gained no added ease.

This is great. Hopefully they make a similar pass through all the epics.

IMO just add epic stuff to AOCs, stupid not to. Same with POS mobs once pop comes.
