I hit "max" level for the first time on any server (On Aradune) just now and I am completely lost. Other than AA farming until I drop dead, what should I be doing at level 60? Has anyone made a "what to do at X level" guide for TLP servers?
If you're in a guild that raids then you grind AA and gear to make raiding easier and prep for next expac. If you're not, then you find whatever silliness you enjoy - tradeskills, achievements, alts, etc..
If you have not maxed your AA then that's your next priority, once you've done that the next expansion will probably have unlocked. If you manage to max levels and AA, then start work on tradeskills if you have any interest on them (or you want the shawl 1.0/2.0/3.0 or Artisan Prize later on). One tip, anything that is marked trade skill that is tradeable - store it on a mule or bazaar it, don't vendor anything.
Like most MMORPG's the game only just begins when you hit max level. Raiding, Tradeskilling, AAing. Questing for better pixels etc.
Grind AA, tradeskill for shawl aug eventually and artisan prize eventually if youre a masochist, help other folks with progression, camp for specific augs and gear to fill holes. My favorite, open the acheivment window and start working on those checkboxes!
Do what so many other serial TLPers do: come to the forums and complain about when the next TLP will launch.
There's a ton of stuff you can do as mentioned, but primarily you should now work on obtaining your 'Ring of the Shissar', which allows you to partake in Emperor Kills. The ring which doubles as the key is a really nice item as well and is relatively easy to get. This quest line intersects with getting into the Vex Thal as you'll need a planar rift from the Emp's chambers too. How's your gear? Lotta quests to bolster your primary stats based on your class. You could also start farming necessary clicky items if you plan on raiding. That said, a few guilds are now running plat raids too, maybe get into those on weekends? In terms of Alternate Advancement points? Those will come pretty easily and depending on your class you may only need about 150 or so before you bank for PoP.
Ride the economy until the new TLP. Buy Krono Sell services - PL , AoE slots , VT Shards , Key Pieces.
