I just downloaded the game after 15+ years away. I want to make a Half-Elf Ranger and start in Surefall Glade but it keeps putting me in a starting zone called something Creast. Is there a way to start a new Half-Elf in the Glade?
If you are free to play your starting city will default to Crescent Reach if you are subscribed you can choose your starting city during character creation by clicking the city button to the right and selecting your preferred starting city from the drop down list
Nothing wrong with Surefall Glade, but when you start using Origin AA to get back to civilization, it is a bit of a run to get to the POK book in Qeynos. Crescent reach is just a run out, and around the corner in Blightfire to get to a Pok book, and as all classes and races can start in CR, you only have to learn to get around in one zone, should you decide you want to start other characters.
