Do what you find is fun. I am currently doing a mix of missions and helping others do progression, getting collects, getting hunter, doing earring etc and I have AAs coming out my ears, so much so I'm having a hard time decideing which useless AA to get next as all the good ones are done.
The big chunk from doing the achievements, In ToV no, in CoV yes, although exp isn't as much for doing CoV
