I've had this happen twice this week on two separate accounts. I've logged out of Everquest full camp, no quick camp, in the Plane of Knowledge. I have my computers off. I boot up and log in the next day and on one of my accounts as I'm selecting my server (in this case, Agnarr) I'm told that there is already a character logged into the server, do I wish to log him out? If I look with my other characters where I logged this character out, he is not there, but if I do a /who all <name> he shows up in the world. When the game finishes "logging" this character out, and I log in. He's in the exact place where I had him camped.
