I have fished a lot and I can only think of one zone connected to a starting city that is not a dead end and you can not fish in on Antonica. It can not be Everfrost, Qeynos Hills, Qeynos Cats, Feerott, Innothule Swamp, Commonlands, North Ro, Nek Forest, Or Kith Forest As I have fished in all those zones.
    Is it Misty Thicket?

Ella Foodcrafter? (Though, would a gnome look up when speaking to a halfling?)

Yes! For some reason (probably her name, heh), whenever I think of baking in game, Ella Foodcrafter pops into my head. Since the last game was coarse salt, I immediately fixated on Ella Foodcrafter, lol.

Also, I think so, very very slightly. That's why I said Verily would need an appropriately sloped hill... it's just not much of a slope required.

As for the ears, male halflings with old models don't have pointed ears and female halflings with old models don't have visible ears at all--their ears are hidden by their hair.
