I have been trying to use a name in EQ and that is Odin i have had a GM even try it and he says it worked for him but every time i try to use it EQ wont let meeven the GM dont understand why this is happening
First off, GM's have different rights than we do. So of course he can make it. What happens when you try to make the name? Do you get the error already in use or something else? Other than its the name of a God and could possibly violate rule #4, maybe. But I have seen others in the game with close to God names but can't remember any actual God or Deity names for characters. Edit could also be rule #5 - trademark issues
What server? Maybe someone already has it. Quick look on Magelo shows 4 players and 7 guilds with the name Odin or variations, so it shouldnt be restricted.
