I don't feel a lack of ornaments dropping is a problem. A dearth of ornaments dropping is currently a thing.
Na just the players aren't so good so they have to make things easier, just look at the RoS raid achievement they just changed. Live servers handled 4 adds TLPs get only 1 talk about easy street.

I would need to: Somehow wrangle up an accomplished raid force. Or somehow manage to sneak in on GMM raid and still be allowed to compete for loot as a "guest"; Then beat the raid; Just by chance, the one ornament drop would need to from the set I need; AND the ornament would amazingly happen to be for a slot I still need; AND then I would still somehow be the one player in the raid force that wins it. AND I would have to somehow do this four more times! This is not a "rare" or "difficult" situation. It is beyond that. It's more like "never-gonna-happen." Difficulty & challenge is one thing... impossible is an other. Adding them to the Overseer Vendor would still make them difficult to get (the new ones from Overseer itself take a long while to acquire, due their cost and how long it takes to buy just one of them). Or... since GMM is under Secrets of Faydwer in the Achievements sections.... how about adding them to the faction / specialty vendor for Faycetum coins? Or... since GMM was introduced in the TBL era, add them to the TBL raid vendor? This set is not something a player can reasonably spend game time to pursue. If it was on a vendor, then it would be something could reasonably pursue and add to their reasons-to-adventure. As of now, it only adds to frustration, not fun.
Since we all know we're stuck with meh SoL character models until the day EQ sunsets, don't mess with our fashion stuff. That's all that's fit to add to the above post.

In the time GMM was current raiding we hit it 35 times, we were able to make and bid off 3 sets. 1 plate, 1 cloth, 1 chain set each. We don't have a single other set. Someone set up a trading house for these. I just completed a final trade with Silent Redemption and we managed to complete 6 total sets, 3 for each guild plus a robe for each. This is what I have left now. Will be happy to try to work out some cross server trades for other sinister ornaments, though not lookin to sell off the remainder just yet. I feel like someone who is savvy with databases could probably take the lists from any guilds that are interested and try to complete sets but I am not smart enough to pull that off. An important facet of this is, a guild has to be prepared to give up certain set pieces and accept that they may not be able to get another set of plate or something, but maybe trading away a few random pieces of plate nets you a suit of chain or other. Obviously plate is the biggest draw usually. How successful would a group geared group of four and two mercs be doing these raids? I was on an extended break during the time it was current, so never did them.
0 its a raid so no mercs. 24 good players to do the event maybe less if work well together for event 1, event 2 emotes need to be paid attention to, event 3 is meh
Since I am the one spamming Povar General for them I might as well post on here. Occasionally I can get our guild to run it but its kinda selfish pushing them to do it for a random chance at the item I need. Though a few others have voiced interest in it, there is nothing else from any of the 3 events we want. Povar Looking for 1 Chain BP, Chain Arm, Chain Legs. Have 1 Plate BP to trade for Chain BP.
