I'm posting to inform the EQ community about the passing of Raswa. He played a ranger as his main. He was a really good guy and he will be missed. Before ROTE, he had previously been in Silent Redemption on Cazic, Final Empire on Xegony and I know he played on Rallos Zek back in the day but not sure which guilds. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news to those of you that knew him. It never gets any easier to type these kinds of posts. My third time now. “Farewell," they cried, "Wherever you fare till your eyries receive you at the journey's end!" That is the polite thing to say among eagles. "May the wind under your wings bear you where the sun sails and the moon walks," answered Gandalf, who knew the correct reply.” ― J.R.R. Tolkien, The Annotated Hobbit: The Hobbit, Or, There and Back Again
Sorry for our loss. RIP Raswa. It sucks seeing messages like this. It is sad to see people go. Never know anyone until you hear the voice, just keyboard and what they do. I have lost a few friends in the game over the years and changes that have become of the missing players is a part of the 'old ways'. Again, Sorry for your loss those close to Raswa.
I am saddened when a player decides to quit the game. It is with even greater sadness that I hear of the ultimate departure of any of us.
I'm sorry to hear this Maedhros and team. I wish I could pass on words of wisdom to try to help you guys in some meaningful way, given what we just went through as a guild, ourselves. There's simply no play book for this kind of thing. Remember your fallen friend, share stories and just go about your EQ life one day at a time and breathe is the best I can come up with. <3
My condolences to anyone in ROTE, SR, FE, and anyone on Cazic & Xegony that was friends with him. I didn't know him personally, but it's always a bummer when a fellow gamer...well when anyone dies. =(
I am very sorry for your loss an the EQ community's overall loss .. May he be rezzed into a greater realm then we know ..
