Dueling Mercs

    A stray thought flittered into my mind. When two players duel each other, do their mercs get involved? If so, it raises some interesting possibilities.
    What if, in the arena, two players with melee mercs make token attacks and then sit back and watch the merc on merc combat. It could make for some interesting entertainment/gambling.
    MERC WARS!!!

    You hire some poor soul in PoK drag him/her all over norrath, give them the bare minimum of gear. Eat/drink in front of them without sharing.. probably get drunk and make some advances. On top of that you rarely share some plat, take all the gear/gem drops for yourself.

    Now you want them to battle it out !... nahah they will make the smart choice and let you fight your own battle.
