Best Box to pair with my 86 Wizard?

    Recently returning player from EQ Classic (on Fennin Ro). I've been grinding my Wiz with just a merc but finding it quite hard so decided to two box.

    Any suggestions of what class i should pair with him? Was thinking of Mage or Necro?

    Did you end up with an enchanter box? I am in a similar boat. Stuck at 92 the entire week, can't find anyone to group with. Soloing HA's is slow/tedious.

    Hard to beat an enchanter box for a wizard. You could argue for a shadowknight that basically carries your wizard around, but an enchanter will juice up your wizard and make them a ton more fun to play.

    I ended up going with a Mage along with my Wizard and running with healer mercs. Been working great so far though Named mobs still wreck me ;p

    What pet focus are you using? Are you using Companion's Fortification AA+spell and AA Aegis on named? Turning off pet taunt and allowing your Rumbling Servant to gank aggro off your pet? It all makes a massive difference.
