I've been playing a mage for a long time now, but wanted to start playing my alt ranger again and have used the heroic upgrade to get him from 55 to 85...He's now level 92 but I'm lost as to what weapons and armor I should equip him with now. I can tradeskill anything up to 300+ on my mage, so would like to be able to make things for him if possible, Otherwise is there anything that drops/sold in bazaar that I could buy for him? I have a half-decent bow and a level 106 bow waiting for him to level, but just want some weapons/armor to get him from 92-106. I'm not powerlevelling him. I want to learn how to play him better. Fear Touched Armor (becomes boreal when ready to wear) - about 2100 hp per item and you have to buy a rust tinged box for 10k but box is reusable. 92-95 ish. The pieces to put in the box can drop or be bought in baz. The Augs are nice and you need to build up your augs. Although it can be good for many levels because you can get better augs to put in it. Since you can collect a lot of the marks of valor and there are weapons and bows there so you can try out a lot assuming you do a lot of HA's. On that tradeskilling Mage....yes there is some ranger weapons If you can't find anyone to help with the HA's then the other dailys hot zones drop a nice aug for each level. That will help. There are a lot of guides and posts on these forums so do a little searching too, cause we all have different opinions!
The path pre TBM was RoF t1 and fear touched gear until 100 for latent etheric. With the 98-100 higher tier stuff if you were fighting in those zones. With the TBM gear now that you can buy with tradeable currency, I'm sure you could cobble a 90-95 set together that is good. You might even have some Remnants of Tranquility gathering dust on your mage.
