Why should DPG even care about the queue?

Mangler had a bunch of issues for the first 8 hours after the company actively promoted it, reached out to streamers, and got a lot of buzz for the anniversary servers.

People swore that would be the end of them, they would regret it and lose tons of subs. 1 year later, all the same people trying to jump in immediately, completely forgetting any transgressions of the past.

Ask yourself, does DPG make money off the person who hasnt played eq in 12 years who will sub for 1 or 2 months and then go about their life? Or is it the people who play 6-12 months every year and then do it all again the next TLP?

If youve been here for more than one TLP now, then you arent going anywhere because of this, you will leave when your time comes for whatever reason same as you wouldve regardless. Those of you quitting over this werent playing before and likely werent going to be playing a few months from now anyways.

Unless us regular players that are here year after year actually speak up with actions instead of hollow words, this will keep happening. I am guilty as much as anyone, but just being honest here

Agreed, but those players that only sub for a few months for the initial TLP rush do tend to purchase kronos/bags/xp pots, more hardcore players don't buy krono from the store. So while DPG doesn't make much off their subs they will be losing a decent amount of potential revenue if enough of those type of players leave. On Mangler the server was fine after that first day, here its 5 days and there are still issues. It would be interesting to know just how many people will be quitting or actually doing a chargeback. I know people tend to vent, but have no real intention of leaving (I would guess this is the case for the majority), but without a doubt some have left and DPG has lost money due to how they managed the launch. Just wonder if it would be enough to make them take notice, seems doubtful at this point unless things get even worse.

You have a 5k+ server capacity and a line to get in.

How many unique posters have posted with threats of charge backs and quitting. Either the number isn’t that high, or most people are at least quite about it.
