    My corpse run nightmare...

    We wiped in Fear. Tried for a couple of hours to rebreak it naked. Finally had to get another guild to go in and break it for us so we could get our gear back.

    back in 99 i lost a corpse of full cloth armor and a tarnished scimitar at level 6 to the brownies in lesser fay. i was super sad

    We usually kept a cleric logged at the north wall safe spot for just such occasions. I remember several times pulling all nighters to feign flop drag everyone's corpse to the safe spot while they all logged out and went to bed to save their rez timers...

    I only recently (couple years ago) discovered a spot up high on the west wall that's relatively safe. North wall probably safer, though.

    If you want corpse runs go to P1999. I remember the pain of late night raid recoveries after a wipe. I don't need those here.
