If you want to re-create this bug I'll tell you exactly what to do: Take two clients into PoTime. Engage any of the bosses which set loot lockouts. Before you kill the boss pull the plug on one of the clients to simulate going link dead. Kill the boss. Your first character will have a 5.5 day lockout, and your link dead character will have an 11 day lockout. The bard had no loot-lockouts for the 4 bosses, which would make sense since she wasn't even in the zone at the time they were killed.
Well, now I have a screenshot + exact date/time... Characters: Atarius, Xyphen, Osmose, Fission, Virulent, Indignant Server: Bertoxxulous Date/time: 4/22/2020 @ 6:32 PM EST Event: Citadel of Anguish Description: I logged 3 characters out (Atarius, Fission and Virulent) for OMM so they wouldn't get death touched. I opened the chest, logged them back in and all of the alts had double lockouts. I don't know if opening the chest before they were on matters or not, but the last time I waited to open the chest the server crashed and I lost everything, so I open it ASAP to be safe. So link dead doesn't matter. You will get a double lockout if you are not online for a kill, or at least not before the chest is opened. It would be nice if GMs could at least reset lockouts. Now I have to wait 9 days to run Anguish since the double lockout is the last boss. No bueno.
Anything new? Still jumping through hoops to avoid this. Would be nice to know if it's (a) unnecessary, (b) being fixed.
