All of those shield ornaments already exist in game. BFG is a no go. Ngreth stated in the original thread and the follow up thread that it's not happening.
No. Sadly it needs to be in the form of a weapon or shield. I tried to get us one of those primary/secondary slot staffs with the book on top of it from Umbral Plains, and it was not allowed per Ngreth.
This is already on the Overseer NPC People should really go check before throwing suggestions out. Otherwise this thread is going to get very confusing for the OP.

Bloodspear Flint Head Spear Basically any basic, normal looking 1HP spear. Not something that looks ridiculous like it's overcompensating.
