I understand the code is a mess, but after all this time, EQ still does not have more faces and hairstyles? We don't need the face manipulation from EQ2 or other games, but please give us more face choices, hairstyles, facial hair, and hair colors to differentiate characters.
Agree - so tired of my female ranger with the bob hair cut. She doesn't play softball so its kinda misleading. She wants a pony like those hot human paladins get!!!
I am not asking for a total revamp, and I do not know the hardcode maximum, but there is room for improvement.
Sadly, keep this in mind. They haven't even had a modeler for a while. And they weren't even capable of doing more hairstyles before they got laid off.
I personally disagree. Ignore cosmetics and spend time on gameplay (not overseer), QoL improvements and bug fixes.
Cosmetics in any MMORPG is part of gameplay. It is an important part of immersion. You didn't choose an Ogre, Vah Shir, Dark Elf, and Barbarian races for no reason. Why not just humans in the same armor and same weapons?
