Pretty safe to assume we won't see the mnk/bst 1hb dropped this year. And I may be incorrectly assuming that the melee additional dmg + newly added symp proc will come out ahead on the new h2h over last years rod even with a just under 1k drop in proc, but I'd anticipate it being better.
While I haven't parsed these different weapon combinations out yet, my suggestion would be to /testcopy after you have a nugget in your inventory and something to make the combine with (such as the faded velium the nugget combines in) and then hit combine on the test server and parse one out then do a parse for as long as you can. After, you can rinse and repeat with the same gear and buffs for a different weapon set. It might take some extra time to parse it this way, but at least you won't have potentially wasted a nugget on a weapon combination you don't want.
well, Rashod doesn't anticipate getting to loot one soon, so that's an extrinsic particular to his situation, but crafted + dropped 1hb would both have the bigger nuke procs instead of claw's smaller tap proc
