Thank You for Protecting the 20th Anniversary Server/s

By releasing these two new TLP servers you save Mangler (sorry Selo) from its population being cannibalized. You maintain the current subscribers on Mangler while also curbing their farming plague. The Krono farmers will hopefully migrate away to their respective boxing promise land, Rizlona. Two birds with one stone right? This is a noble attempt Dev team, well played.

I am also excited to hear more about the Aradune server! This being "a new concept for the Truebox server rule set" suggests that you are receptive to new ideas and inclusive of ALL players of the community. Looking forward to seeing both new and returning subscriptions to help keep the EQ dream alive.

Keep up the good work Dev team. Many of us appreciate your hard work and dedication to keeping our nostalgia alive. As a former Tallon Zek, Agnarr, Coirnav, and Mangler player myself I would like to say thank you again.

    Cheers.

sorry but all the botters will move to the truebox server, because it will be less profitable for them to play on a server were someone can box. say 4 boxers in a guild can get together they can take down a botter thats afk or box a cleric and 2 enchanter let them kill most of the mob then charm the mob when its low on health wait for the botter to pull another mob and kill the charmed mob and rinse and repeat,by using the second enchanter charmed mob to kill it.

the botters will move to where the 'herd' is, as that's where the money will be made.
It doesn't matter if the servers are truebox or not as they've bypassed that restriction long ago.

I do expect Mangler to go the same way as coirnav though when the new servers launch. Yes there will still be people there, but it will be a shell of it's former self.

You guys are crazy to think the "botters will be on the truebox". Rizlona will have the free MacaroniQuest running rampant on it. People will still have to pay money and go out of their way to cheat on truebox and people will be reporting players way more actively then on Rizlona.

Sure there might be a few but there will be 10x as many on the non-truebox where it cost no extra money and its much easier to cheat on then the truebox server, with a program that has been developed for years. Can't wait to see the screenshots of all the 20-40 automated box armies on Rizlona. Ragefire was gross and Rizlona will be the same. Avoid it at all cost imo.

Depends. The krono farming botters will be on Aradune because profits... The anti-social botters will flock to Rizlona.

Truebox servers create a situation where supply and demand favors the supplier which means more profit potential for farmers. Hense, the Aradune server will undoubtedly have the higher population of krono farmers.

The non-truebox server makes it way more convenient for the average player to box which means there will likely be a higher character to player ratio. That will lead to more open picks, more chances at rare spawns with rare drops, and ultimately favor the demand side of supply and demand. Prices will be lower for desired rare loot which means there will be less krono farmers.

There will still be krono farmers of course because it cost next to nothing to setup a cheating box army to farm 24/7, and since they seem to be able to do it with out getting banned, they will.

In other words, BOTH servers will have the farming bots. It's not like they will choose one over the other. The people you see making money off of EverQuest are doing it on every server including Live. They aren't choosing one server to farm at a time. Even if you use a different computer for each server, they still would be making a ton more than they are spending to run their business model.

Until Darkpaw Games or Daybreak Games puts an end to it, it will continue regardless of the server rules.
