TLP Berzerker

What TLP server would be the best to play a berzerker on (Population). Or should I wait and see if Mangler remains the youngest TLP and wait for zerkers to unlock?

Unfortunately the way they keep pumping out TLPs the youngest TLP will never have zerkers available, unless a server like Miragul or similar appeals to you. Its just the way it is, they release the new TLP right before GoD on the most recent TLP.

Berserkers don't begin to reach full potential until the later expansions where they have multiple abilities/discs to stack. If you're talking overall best in efficiency, it'll be Phinny since it's closest to "live" servers. If your "best" is based on the player numbers of the server, I'm not sure a Berserker will ever be a great choice.

Berserker is top tier dps from the time they’re available until endgame. If you disagree... get better berserkers

To be fair, a lazy warrior will prevent 'better zerks' from doing anything top tier. They are top tier from GoD on though. They definitely get better with each expansion.

Leveling one on a truebox server by the time GoD hits is probably quite difficult.

In most cases mangler type servers will struggle once the next best tlp is out. It really depends on which expansions you want to experience mainly. Selo is always an option.

Berserker are weak in GoD even after they are caught up. They are top tier from omens onwards though.

By the time TLP servers that start in classic reach GoD they are already at a much lower population than was at their start, pretty much mimicking how live servers went, so groups will be scarce or non-existent.

Levelling one is either going to require a lot of help from friends & guildies (aka powerlevel) or you are going to need to multi-box, tip: if you can 2 box make a shaman if you can 3 box make a shaman & bard to go with your berserker.

Picking a server will depend on what you want to do and how you want to do it:
Ragefire or a Live server will allow you to box multiple accounts on one computer, boxing on other TLP is going to mean multiple computers, small population a couple of USA guilds still active here, no EU.
Miragul is Truebox but starts you off with a Heroic 85, a good way to try out the later game or which classes you enjoy at that later stage of the game if you plan to play that deep, one Mega raiding guild which is pretty much the only available choice on this server for USA players, no EU guilds at all.
Phinigel just unlocked CoTF, and has Heroic Character option available for a quicker catch-up, small but very helpful community here, 3 USA guilds & 1 EU guild all clearing content in era, a great choice for players looking to get into later-game raiding.
Selo - fast progression server, okay option if you have the very high playtime you would need to be an end game raider & keep up with the pace of a new expansion unlocking every 4 weeks, small population.
Mangler - Classic start server that is now into PoP schedule may look like the one here (LINK)
TBC - possibly another TLP opening in March no details yet.

For clarification selo does not need a very high playtime
