So I box myself, and my shaman....both toons have plleeennnttyy of currency so it's not an issue there. Both mercs are set to reactive, and the "auto assist" buttons are clicked down. There are NO heals blocked on my shamans character, any clue at all why he isn't receiving ANY heals? Will a merc not heal after Canni or something??
It is intentionally designed not to heal after a canni (though they are again in ToV). I seem to recall patch notes to that effect, but can I find them, hrm . . . self-challenge! Edit: the last reference I could find was that this was in a patch sometime around 2008, which pre-dates these forums, so I probably won't keep looking (though I'm sure some sites must archive notes).
Generally they don't, although sometimes they will if you are in combat depending on what exactly is going on in the encounter.
