Did Daybreak post somewhere about No Transfer items or is this a wonderful stealth nerf? What is No Transfer and why do I get the fun of examining over 200 items to figure out which one of them is No Transfer? Seriously, they couldn't have had the message to me say the name(s) of the items? Also, what do they mean by "next server update"? Does that mean the patch in February or if the server goes down or gets an out of band patch tomorrow will it wind up on a character?
Easiest way to find it is to right click the bag and see if the description says no trade. Whatever item is should be in that bag.
I believe one or more items that were not no-trade were changed to no-trade in the patch this week. This is the resulting conflict of the update. So the item in question is probably a ToV item and on inspection will have a no trade tag but be in the shared bank.
This is the first I've gotten it. I've just logged in the first time since the Wednesday patch. I'm getting it every time I zone. Thank you.
Yes I had stored a bunch on a mule until we figured out what it was for. Now they are useless and CS will not transfer them back to my main.
Exactly the case. My family plays so i have 4 accounts. The mule is on one of daughters accounts. The log in thing will only work if they are in the shared bank as well. Which they are not.
Restless Bone Marrow is super easy to get. I think I had accumulated over 200 on my main before this patch. This morning I was doing Kael for collectibles and got a few more. Depending on how many are actually required (I don’t know this), I imagine replacing them will be a relatively easy endeavor. So while I agree it is unfortunate and I’m negatively impacted, I think the impact is rather minimal.

Ok, I took the Restless Bone Marrow out of my shared bank and the message is no longer appearing when I zone. So problem (for me) seems solved. Of course, the game message that started this is a mess that needs to be fixed. It should say: "An item(s) in your shared bank (Restless Bone Marrow) is a NO TRADE item. You MUST remove this item(s) from your shared bank space before the next scheduled server update or you risk having the item(s) placed on the first character who logs in!" [My changes in bold] At that point, the player can understand what to do and use the Find Item tool if necessary to find all of the named items in their shared bank and have the character they desire remove them.
While what you are saying is indeed accurate, it is terrible customer service to do such a thing. DBG has all of our e-mails and social media. It would have been a non-event for them to send out information that an item was going to be made no-trade in the patch and to make sure the item is on the correct character.

I'm ready to move on. I just wanted Daybreak to fix the error going forward so the next person that gets that message on any item can know what to do and not have to figure out a cryptic message.

A little bird told me that I'll need to have 6 (assuming no fails) for the earring quest. I'm at the 5th earring and they have not been used so far, so we'll see. I am trying not to panic, because I have 49.
