Purchase of Current and Past Collector's Editions

Please allow the purchase of each collector edition dating back to the beginning, at least during EverQuest's anniversary. For whatever reason, people may have wanted to purchase them, but weren't able to.

    Some examples include:
    • Not having funding
    • Being too young to be able to
    • Not playing at the time
    • Etc.

This would be exceptionally beneficial to EverQuest as a whole, as anniversary time lands around tax time, and this would drastically increase revenue for EverQuest to keep it going even longer. We got a teaser of this from Miragul server, and now we want more! :)

I would happily buy past collectors editions expansions if for no other reason than to be able to finally finish off the collectables from those zones I could not use.

Agreed. I would absolutely love to get some of the editions, and would pay for them. This could be a once a year thing and would net them so much revenue.

They have offered special collector editions for the last few years:

https://www.everquest.com/news/eq-past-expansion-collectors-edition-bundle-2021 - this one covered a few different expansions
Rain of Fear Standard Item Bundle.
    Collectors Only Collection Quest
https://www.everquest.com/news/eq-house-of-thule-bundle-2019 - I think this one might still be in marketplace

I would expect them to have another one soon.

As CatsPaws pointed out DBG has been reselling the old editions for awhile, recently around $80-$85. There have been a lot of threads on this.

Based off previous years we'll likely see Call of the Forsaken on sale soon (e.g. between now & the summer). Hopefully it'll work like last year where they split the expansion into two separate bundles totaling $85 for all items, so we don't need to pay $85 for unique housing...

This old posts from a discussion CatsPaws and I had with another player summarizes the links CatsPaws shared pretty well.

Thanks Kermitt for the heads up on COTF possibly being next. Since I can never find what was originally released and what they now offer (if they put a COTF collectors in marketplace) I am linking this so I can refer back to it.

Hi Siraj, just FYI the Call of the COTF bundle is listed now for a limited time. Just calling it out as a follow up to this thread so you don't miss out on this one too.
