Druid Dire Charm bug

I think Druid Dire charm is bugged.

Twice now I have charmed a sabertooth cat in OT using DC. Twice, I directed it to attack a con yellow cliff golem. The cat began to claw and bash the golem for reasonable damage. After 6-7 damage messages charm breaks, and both cat and golem attack me. I didn't even cast anything.

IF this is an issue of a stun from the golem, shouldn't that be coded so it can't break Dire Charm? Makes no sense.

Cat attacked me with Rake right after dealing riposte damage. Perhaps that is related?

Dire Charm is definitely bugged. I tried it again, this time on a crab in OT. Message indicated it wore off 6 seconds after it first took effect.

I didn't cast in the time.....just watched it happen.

The same goes for the enchanters.

The Overthere [RoS] cats cannot be charmed.
No..., I can be charmed, but it will soon lose its effect or be out of control.
I think this is the intended working.

Something isn't working correctly. Crabs in OT are doing the same thing - charmed for a few seconds and then it breaks.

Seem crazy that a creature like a sabertooth would be immune to Druid Dire Charm. That kind of mob should be perfect for that kind of thing.

That's on purpose. Just charm the sarnaks, dogs, or npcs in town.
