The in game description says this AA can raise tradeskill specialization cap from 200 to 250. EQTC, which is a source of great tradeskill information, says this AA increases it to 300. Is this an out of date description in the AA window? Or is it capped on TLP until a certain point? Mangler is my first TLP so could anyone from past TLP servers shed some light on this?
It lets you raise a second (and more as you buy more ranks) tradeskill past the cap of 200, to 300. If the ingame AA window says 250 it is in error. Note that class specific tradeskills do not count towards the cap of tradeskills going past 200 (Tinkering, Poisonmaking, Alchemy).
As Bobby said it's 300, the 250 ingame is a error There is 7 "main" tradeskills Blacksmithing Brewing Baking Tailoring Pottery Jeweler making Fletching Each of these skills can reach 300, but you can only raise 1 of these skills to 300. Once one of them goes to 201 all of the others become capped at 200. Each rank of New Tanaan AA removes the 200 from all of them, the first new tradeskill to hit 201 can be raised to 300. All of the rest of them will get capped at 200 again. At 6/6 New Tanaan all of 7 them can reach 300 Fishing, Research and the 3 class/race tradeskills don't follow these rules.
