I imagine because the bug roundup forum primary serves the purpose of addressing new bugs after a test or live update patch.
Please let us know what happened to the Daybreak Community Issue Tracker which we were using instead of this. See my post here: https://forums.daybreakgames.com/eq...sue-tracker-down-or-gone.260202/#post-3833128 which has some questions and concerns. I can copy and paste that but I don't like double posting. So, do I have to somehow remember the bug reports I created there and add them here? Because it is mostly impossible but if I have to do extra work I will do what I can. Not that I'm in the least bit happy about Daybreak telling us to use that and then finding out all my work was not only in vain but mostly cannot be reproduced by me, if this is the case.
That's great...if they copied over the data. And of course, it would be a good idea to let us use it.
So basically it's been scrapped and all of the issues that countless people had posted there have been lost ?
I had quite a few items entered in the jira dgcissuetracker as well, so would like to know if we need to re-enter them here or not. Also this says bug reports, what about feature requests and the like? Or can we only post bugs here?
I'd love to but it is impossible. Hours of work on my part is lost. I didn't keep a record, as I (stupidly) assumed it was safe.
Are you serious ? I'm sure there are many of us who had dozens of issues entered in the dgc issue tracker, usually with a decent amount of information. That's not something we all have memorized that we can go an recreate. If we had had some warning that you were shutting down the issue tracker we could, perhaps, archived off our tickets.
As stated > here <, the dcgissuetracker was something not operated by DBG and the responsible person(s) behind it either don't have the time or the financial backup to continue to run it. Still, there is a bad taste because it went down without further notice. Lots of people registered there with several details including (but not limited to) name, mail address, password, and (maybe) other personal data. There's not even a short page why it got shut down and what will happen with the data, bugs etc. which were fed into that system.
If you can remember any of the titles/topics of the threads you maybe able to find a cashee snap of the thread, I just found one by accident while looking for some information about petamorphs.
