Hi there, I recently came back to Everquest after about 10 years and decided to go with a drow necromancer on the (new?) Vox server. I was working on the necromancer armor in Neriak but the last quest eludes me. I go in and input the speech patterns needed to start the quest, but when I input the last bit of speech ("I am ready to be tested") the NPC (Talorial D`Estalian) just repeats his last line of text. Does anyone know of a workaround or is this a known issue? I suppose not may people work on these quests as I haven't seen a soul around, but I wanted to get that old EQ feel back. Maybe I'm saying the wrong thing? Please let me know, thanks!
Some of these quests have broken stages - the froglok quests are all badly messed up, for example. However, you may be able to complete this quest by gathering the four pages and handing them in - worth a try? It can take a while to get them all to drop.
You might want to post this in the bug forum for greater visibility. Provide as many details as possible and, if confirmed, they will eventually take a look.
