There is nothing better than a RMT farmer charming and running with your epic mob to you chasing him, dispelling and killing the mob to get the loot. I was nice enough to even offer selling the loot rights afterwards. He never responded as I think he crawled into the fetal position knowing he will not be able to buy his hot pockets tomorrow. To the small victories!
So you ran after him dispelling the charm but mistyped that and actually meant to say charm were off?
Quite a few people seem to forget that Krono can be redeemed for 30 days of play time and that experience long time players see TLP as an excellent source of them to support their live server accounts. Truebox means that those folks need a separate box to run their traders and farmers on and nothing more
And that Krono holds in game value far better than plat as a result. There are tons of people that also sit on a nest egg of Krono and do absolutely nothing with them except collect them.
yeah you can f2p on a live server if you're content with low tier gear and rank 1 spells. You need to go all access if you want to get any AA. Oh yeah, there's some people that will box a crew of f2p scrub characters to support their all access tank but realistically those are about as bad as mercenaries if not worse when you face challenging content. There's a vast and exciting world of EQ once you get away from TLP. Seriously TLP is good for one thing IMHO and that's stocking up on Krono for your real characters
