So i was lucky enough to loot one of the type 18's with the +5% to accuracy effect. Thing is how do we tell it's working? When i equip it, my shown accuracy stat did not change.

yes it did, you were looking the wrong spot:

Hmm well i presumed changes to accuracy would be shown on the accuracy stat , under the stat tab.
Your saying it changes the value of attack? Then why not say that on the aug?

That part of your attack stat is your accuracy stat, the mod 2 accuracy should add to it too?
  5. Duder Augur

Under the stat tab is your Heroic Stat Mods, if your natural accuracy (the second number of atk after the "/") were 1000, and your Hmod accuracy were lets say 200 and then you got some more Hdex and it went to 201, that 2nd number of attack would now read 1001. What brohg circled is your total accuracy value. The one from the stats tab is just Hmod value, just part of the total.

Well that make a bit more sence. I removed the aug and the second number dropped to 1334. Add it back in and it goes up to 1392. Not 5% … but close. my heroic accuracy is 213/300 . It drops by one point when the aug is removed.
  7. Brohg Augur

1334-212 = 1122. 58 pretty close to 5% of that number, so rounding somewhere, but it is a 5% boost.
  8. Greymantle Augur

Wrong way, 5% x 1335= 66.7 . 66.7+1334=1400.7 . Close but shy 8 points at 1392. that works out to 4.35% increase. just nit picking heh.
  9. Brohg Augur

    not 1334. 1334-212 = 1122
  10. Greymantle Augur

It 1334 without the aug in , 1392 with.

Ahh sorry missed what you were saying exactly. So second # - heroic accuracy X 5% +. Ya that adds up with rounding to what I am seening. What a convoluted system, thanks.
  11. Brohg Augur

right. 1334, which is your 212 Heroic Mod added on to 1122

Not convoluted at all. The % operates on the base value, not the bonus.
