Charm wasn't the problem, but Crystallized Pumice stones should of been made instant again.

    were instant, and then changed to have a cast time, I believe the way that DBG went about fixing the problem was wrong.

    In the original classic everquest, Crystallized Pumice did not exist - it was Egg-Shaped Pumice that was instant cast w/ charges. When it was removed, the item was replaced with Crystallized Pumice which has the cast time. Old rumors were that one of the GMs lost a duel to someone using Eggs on his buffs so he had the devs remove it. They've been gone since, what, 2001?

    There was also a droppable instant click dispell from Cazic Thule, but that got removed as well (and then later the trick to recharge them was fixed.) They were super useful on pvp servrers.
