Are new Epics of the table forever?

I wouldn't expect Epics due to the Devs not wanting to have to develop around another Necro 2.5, for example.

Now part 1: "Increase the reward as you get closer to max Achievement point". So basically people now get the max reward if they close, what happens then when there new expansion and the bar is raised higher, do you then lower the reward ? And take back the reward you earned. People are already rewarded by the AA themselves. Beside this is only increasing hp/mana/ac inflation, which imo we have enough off as it is.

Part 2: tradeskills, people already get reward for it, it is called artisan prize. Travellng = journeyman compass.

    1) When new expansions come out, new reward tiers are introduced. Naturally the old reward tiers become easier to get as you now have more achievement points to choose from. Increasing hp/mana/ac was only one example of a type of reward. They can make the reward whatever they choose. Make it a weapon aug. Make it an AA. I don’t particularly care....

    2) There are SO many achievements out there for which there is no reward. There are also achievements that currently result in double rewards (a chest for beating a mission, Hero AAs, and AAs from the achievement???). Why be picky about this?

Maybe because you cannot expect to get rewards for everything. And beside, if you get for everything, you do close the door for the devs to use that as a reward. Example traveller as you mention, there is journeyman compas, and now there also evolving stuff for it.

This concept can be applied to literally every and anything in the game. You beat Mearatas raid! No loot! What? You can’t expect to get rewards for everything! You already have rewards for the other raids!

That said, this is an MMORPG. There should be rewards for doing stuff. Some rewards are small, some are large, some are aesthetic, some grant meaningless points. How many quests do you complete that have no reward whatsoever? Would you still complete missions if the only thing at the end were the NPC saying “Thanks, Smash! Safe Journeys!”

Maybe the reward of just accumulating achievement points is sufficient for folks, but I would very much like to see a substantial reward tied to it given the amount of effort required.
