Fight Fire too fast?

I'm wondering if the chase loot doesn't drop if you finish the mission too quickly?

I ve blown thru it and had drops.

Nope.

Been a lot of investigation from the players and devs into anything that could impact drops, it's one of the most tested drop-systems in the expansion. Specifically for speed I've completed it in stupid-fast time and gotten drops.

I lost my mind when TBL came out and I went 40 runs without a drop and start interrogating everyone I knew who was having success. Nobody was doing anything special and there's nothing you can do to improve your chances besides running it more frequently.

Its just the RNG. I ran this mission 170 times to get two gloves to drop.

My name for it is Five Minute Fire... I've got all 4 on most of my chars.

Ran it twice yesterday, boots on first run, gloves on 2nd! Shame I just want shoulders and ring! Grats 2 guildmates

Had been weeks before seeing anything drop.

Slow doesn't seem to help - no rewards tonight. (much afk, 1.5 hours total time)
