I am seriously thinking of maining a warrior on Mangler so I have been doing some research because I am such a n00b. I saw a BiS list and was kinda shocked. Most of the crafted gear was listed for Warriors. SKs had a fair amount of DarkForged. The rest seemed to not use a lot of their mid level gear like that. http://www.paullynch.org/eqblog/?p=529 Is this still the case for Classic that Crafted is that good?
Plane of Hate gear (Indicolite) is better than most Crafted (if not all). That’s all no-drop though and can’t be obtained until level 46 and Naggy/Vox have been defeated if I remember correctly.
You can do raids and tank planes in crafted. With instances you'll get your planes gear pretty quick. Stack HP gear and AC non visibles. Kunark Cobalt is great AC. Very helpful for when you're stat capped. You can handle NToV in Cobalt gear. Velious has way more imaginative gearing options, typically the kael quested armor is the go to for warrior cause AC.
