I have gotten friends to join EQ when I returned recently. This game is really fun when you have RL friends to group with. We have a regular group of sk-cleric(me)-bst-mage-ench-wiz. We started at lvl 1 and just about to ding lvl 70. We only play once a week. A lot of times I am on but my friends are not. When that happens I 6-box. Right now I have 2 set ups that I bounce between: 1) Pally-cleric-druid-ench-mage-mage (all lvl 86) 2) Warrior-cleric-druid--ench-mage-wizard (all lvl 89) I also have a sk-shaman-wizard 3-box with mercs but I try to play without mercs as much as possible. I also have an 86 bard on the same account as shaman that some day I will put a 6-box group together to play with. Just wanted to post that I am having fun with EQ. No whining, , etc. Just a simple, happy post.
These forums can use a lot more posts like this! There's nothing like playing with RL friends. What server are you on? We have a three pack of Mage, Enchanter, and Necro. We're all 100ish, but can grind AAs for a while. It could be fun.
