    Hello again Norrath!
After years of playing (and a bit of an absence), I'm back. Not only do I plan on being more active in the game again, but I also now work for a local media outlet in South Florida!

That being said, I need an e-mail or other contact for the PR/Legal department in regards to media usage rights so we can do an article and or videos and reference the EverQuest franchise and other Daybreak properties. If any of the mods, devs, or other various and sundry denizens of these forums can assist, it would be greatly appreciated.

I don't think you need to ask for permission for this type of stuff considering youtubers aren't asking for permission to use anything & they are paid for their work. I've never had to ask a company for permission in my time working on this stuff.

Unless your bosses & their lawyers specifically have to jump through some sort of redtape or fill out paper work for this type of crap you should be fine (legally speaking of course).

That said, Roxxly is in charge of this type of stuff (I think?): https://forums.daybreakgames.com/eq/index.php?members/roxxlyy.433774/

She is, as far as I know, who sends everyone their EQ gift baskets and stuff. I've never been sent a gift basket (red headed step child of the family I suppose) but everyone else who has, had it come from her.

While some companies are less aggressive with pursuing legal action than others, unless there is a free use clause publicly stated we have to get permission to use copy-written materials for our publication and digital media.

Thank you for the information about Roxxly though!

As AlmarsGuides stated you probably don't need permission if you are using videos produced by Daybreak taken from their web page. And as long as it isn't being used for making money off of and is cited and credit given shouldn't have a problem. If you are wanting to contact staff for interviews and such, I would recommend twitter as daybreak long ago removed their email contacts / phone contacts from public.

I would message Roxxlyy and start there, and then I would try to reach out to Ry Schueller who is the Brand Manager for DB Games.

Or Holly Longdale who is the executive producer for Everquest
