Dear Daybreak and EQ Community, Lets keep global chat off. The game has been more enjoyable and a whole lot less stressful and toxic with this feature down. I vote we keep it that way. Sincerely, A Concerned Norrathian
...and along with global chat, which you can selectively turn off if you don't like it, we lose our friends list (and I'm afraid to add new friends in case it screws up my old, missing, friends list), we lose the auction channel, newplayers lose their channel (which many of us use to give away lower level items when we do bank cleaning), etc.
