The following has been noted from looking through the recipe output files. This is a work in progress and what I have so far. Overall, I have noted an inconsistency where a backtick is used in certain cases (Al`Kabor) and an apostrophe is used in others (Al'Kabor). Jewelry Making leaves out all the cultural symbols (ex. Blessed Nimble Symbol of Below), while other TS exclude lower ones and including higher ones. As an example, Tailoring output file has Blessed, Revered, Sacred, and Eminent. In research, the prefix Spell, Scroll, Ability, etc. which is found on the item names, is inconsistently applied on the recipe names (some have, some don't) even on names that do not appear would hit truncation limit. I'm actually not sure if its a great idea to fix these or not, was discussing this with someone earlier. Reason being several folks have built tools based on the information that is in there already, and if they get fixed on the sly without notice, we'll always be going back to change them. That said, i've noticed alot of these same discrepancies. if they do fix these, it would be nice to get them in the patch notes so we at least have warning that we need to update existing lists/information.
Similar issue, for fishing there are numerous duplicates. 'Fish Eggs' has multiple recipes but is just listed as 'Fish Eggs'. Same for 'Prepared Fish'
That's not an issue as much as there likely was a design decision at that time to not specify the particular ingredient (probably was not seen as important at the time as we did not originally have the recipe search function). As TS has changed over the years, the way we work with it has had to adapt too. There might have been a later design decision to include the ingredient in parenthesis, or it was a decision by the implementer at that time. I've come up with a way to get around this shortcoming in a parse tool I am creating. I have a little more work to get things verified and tidy, but I might be prepared to release it some time over the weekend.
