Just beat this and got all the achievements. 1 question, what elementals? And the only ooze we saw was at the end when Talendor was at 3%, Seems a bit on the rough side for group players.
The dragon has too little hp even for 1 group, let alone 2. That's why you don't get to see any oozes or elementals. On the other hand, somebody decided to use the raid version of [50826] Shadow Flames instead of creating a weaker version for the group mission. Reminds me of the final mission in Heart of Fear that was also using the raid AE dot until it got nerfed.
Group content should be designed for 1 group. Raid content should be designed for 9 groups. Mucking around with mission / raid size unnecessarily complicates the game.
Raid content should be designed for smaller guilds as well, there is nothing special about 9 groups. There are lots of guilds who can't raid anything meaningful because of the 9 group requirement, but would be able to raid if smaller raids were available.
Then don't do the mission. Recruit more people. As always there is no fine print that guarantees every player will complete all content.
raid gear is for raiding. Half of content is already catering specifically to raiding. Wanting it to be 75% raiding (half of group content for raid geared players) is pretty stupid.
That makes no sense in the present game. If you are not in a guild with standard scheduled raid times, you are not raiding RoS, ever. Its not like you just jump into it. You gotta have the time and commitment to make a raiding guild (and then of course a class they want).
