can eq work on macbook

  1. DoubleWide New Member

    i downloaded steam to a macbook just now and dont see everquest in the library, although when i tried to install it, it said game alrdyi in library. i tried to search to see how to install everquest but could not find anything helpful. can i get it through steam as a download? or how can i get to play it on the macbook?

    do i need to be concerned with any compatibility issues? wife may try to kill me while we are out on vacation and im using her mac for some gaming during downtime.

    You would need to use WINE or dual boot windows.

    I haven't tested macbook but I can say it works pretty well on a 2015 iMac using Wine. Good luck :)

    I run Parallels with Windows 10 and it works fine on my 2015 Macbook Pro (8 GB of memory). In fact, it works better in Parallels than dual booting over to Windows.

    Don't use VMWare, whatever you do. Daybreak has a terrible policy of permabanning accounts logged in through virtual machines without adequate investigation.
