deleted both eq1 and 2 reinstalled under steam. validated files same problem Seems to be launcher problem as it is effecting both games. Get same message.
I'm still getting this problem too. Since last night it's been telling me "A connection to the server could not be reached. Please check your internet connection to make sure you are online." so I thought I messed up the install or something. I still see the werewolf from Depths of Darkhallow as the background to the launcher. Is it not patching, or is this problem not on my end?
What is odd is that I have two computers. This problem started on one. Not on the other. Other works fine.
Tell me something... how is it that this game has been through three different companies and is *still* having the same issues nearly 20 years later. Or maybe I answered my own question? In any case - same issue. I'm on fiber optic. It isn't my connection or this computer, your technical support is still lacking in common sense. Fix it and try updating us after "we're working on it". You've been "working on it" for years.
