I'm looking at playing a wizard or a mage on Agnarr. Both have rain spells and I've heard that there is certain requirements about how to use these, like needing LoS and needing to be within a certain range of your targets? Also people talked about getting 3 or 4 waves depending on how many targets they are hitting? Anyone mind giving me a quick rundown on Using Rains for Dummies in both a group and raid setting or point me to an existing guide on using them please?

Almost all rains fire up to 3 waves with 4 hits total. So if you cast on a single target, it will hit 3 times. If you cast on 2 targets, it will hit them each twice. If you cast on 4 targets, it will hit them all once. If you cast on 3 targets, it will hit them all once and a randomly selected target twice.
