city of mist "a stone key" doesn't do jack

I have this on my /key from long ago. Didn't work. I looted a new one from a Captain of the Guard. Didn't work.

I can't illusion or shrink or anything through the stupid doors, thank you very much. Bad developers. Bad.

"It's locked and you're not holding the key." Yeah right. I had it in a main inventory slot (where a bag would go). I had it in my hand. It didn't matter. The doors don't open.

It works fine, I just looted one a few days ago and it opened the door in the back building to the Reavers. Looted on a warrior.

I did read also that you must have it in a top level inventory slot to work. Not holding on cursor. And I can confirm that's where it was sitting when I opened the door.

I went up the "sky walk" area and there are two large buildings. Does the key not work there? It doesn't for me. I thought I needed the stone key in order to get the other key for the black reaver castle. If it's the wrong key then Brewall needs to fix his map and the posters on Allakhazam need to update their info.

From the walkthrough (top post):

1. Kill the reaver in the throne room then kill Ghiosk. --- CHECK

2. Go through the right hand door and fight your way to Neh'Ashiir's room in the sky and kill her reavers then kill her to get the Key of Torsis. --- CAN'T ACCESS

The Stone key doesn't unlock the doors in the upper level. Only the first door to get into the reaver area. You'll need a lockpick or some fancy levitating to get up to Neh`Ashiir.

Awesome. Then the walkthrough and the map are both wrong. I levitated to get there but could not get into the building.

You can probably pet pull the area using /tar, otherwise need a lockpick.

I updated Stone Key and Key of Torsis to show what they are used for. I have rarely stepped foot in that zone so I don't know enough about it to make a up to date guide. Perhaps someone can post one so I can put it in the zone guide and give you credit for it.

Yes, I remember my guild doing this many years ago. The other night it was just us two druids. The bear pet is so insulting that I often forget he even exists as an option.
