What do you want to do with it? Import it into a database table? You can try downloading the code for my parser and altering it so that it creates a CSV type dump. https://github.com/rumstil/eqspellparser
Thanks for the link. Unfortunately the last serious programming I did was in Fortran so modifying your source is a bit beyond me
You can download a compiled version of the parser at raidloot. Direct link to the parser is here. the file you want to parse is called spells_us.txt located in your everquest directory.
Compared spells_us.txt to an old download from lucy and there are a load morefields from lucy. No idea where they come from.
I believe they changed up the structure of the spell data file from the last time lucy was updated with spell data, back in April. This is another project we're hoping to get done soon so we can get spell data updated.
