All EverQuest Live Servers will be brought offline on Wednesday, April 20, 2016 at 6:30AM Pacific* for a patch. Servers will be unavailable for approximately three hours.

Any chance in starting patch half hour earlier?
Or pushing the gnome race back half an hour?

Are people camping these races that heavily? Is this why during normal hours it's won constantly by the mage daisy chains?

I am in the UK and most times are impossible for me because I have a home life! I've been taking part in the 3pm Pacific race, at 5pm UK time and, on one occasion last week, my Paladin Holidae was the only participant! I'm not sure what would count as "normal hours" in the USA and I haven't met Daisychains so far. It is obviously pretty popular, judging by the amount of armour ornament from it on sale in the Bazaar on Antonius Bayle!

There arent daisy chains as such on AB. Certainly mages with a full group of undoubtedly ftp gnomes . But the variability of the checkpoints slows them down. Normally theres less than 10 that turn up. There was one occasion that I saw more and that was 30 at the begining of a holiday, my last race infact. I found that if u simply concentrate on your gnome and sort some sort way to get through unrest , whether it being an escort who clears a path or a mage cothing, then you will still easily get in the top 10. In all the other zones, u can avoid any agro if u keep your eyes open and if u do get any, just keep running and be ready to hail quick using a hotkey for targetting.

I'm glad to see the Alcohol Tolerance skill being given a little more utility. It seemed like a useless skill to have for a really long time until mobs were added that could cast spells that simulated drunkenness, which really hurts you if you are any kind of magic user or hybrid magic user since your prime casting stat practically gets wiped out when drunk. I always felt that having a higher AT should make it harder for you to get drunk, but even with it maxed out it still only takes a couple of drinks to make you start walking funny. I also disliked the assumption that all alcoholic drinks have the same effect regardless of whether it's bog juice or Brut champagne. Some drinks should have a higher alcohol content than others and have a greater effect on you. It will be interesting to see how these changes play out when they go live. It's good that I decided to max my AT on the free beer from the anniversary event.

The first 17 racers completing the race are awarded a choice of Tipsy armor, any after that are awarded the shirt. Hmmm, 17 . . . Coinidence?

It seems that daybreak has taken away our ability to get to the chat while servers are locked, directing us here to the forums, or to a server status page.

When is Staunch Recovery going to be fixed for Bards? It's been broken since day one I sent bug reports in and petitioned in the beginning and got the run around it seems now stuff is getting looked at please look into it and fix it or at least give us more mana when we use Rallying Call

Aye! I've long thought that things like 2xBrewed, 2xStout Dwarven Ale, and anything meant to get an Ogre, Troll, or Iksar drunk should knock most people flat if they don't have high AT.

Why are progression servers say locked for me when my roomamte are on phiny playing

Serving coming down in 12 minutes message in game on Phinny.....

Because Augs are dropping on Phinny that shouldnt be and supposedly higher exp rates in zones.

Is there any kind of ETA on the server being unlocked?

No more LoN from in game. I wonder if they plan on getting rid of it completely soon.

Did anyone ever really think LoN was going to be able to compete with Hearthstone?
