How open are these forums...

    Not a hate thread whatsoever, just some concerns i have about the forum and how open they really are.

    I noticed that the last 2 weeks there is a real increase in locked threads, 62 the last 2 weeks, about 1 every 5 threads is getting closed. Part of that is directly violating some rules, the rest of the closings are vague. Thats a real shame IMO, since i belive open communication, even when not always positive is always better then censoring.

    these forums have always been heavily moderated. i really dont understand why some of the threads we see pop here dont get posted on the ragefire boards

    Because few people actually care enough to post on the official forums.

    Even fewer care enough to post on 3rd party forums.

    People that complain about something DBG did (the threads most commonly being locked) want to voice their opinion somewhere someone official will see it. Even if its a thread that will be locked.
