It's Thraka though, and with his history, who knows.

    Dear Developers,

Please do the obviously right thing and allow free one-time bidirectional server transfers between RF and LJ TLP.

On each server, almost exactly half of your players want 6 months.

On each server, almost exactly half of your players want sooner than 6 months.

These numbers are not in dispute.

    A) Two fractured communities, split down the middle.

    B) Two servers.

    The stars rarely align thusly.

It does not take a rocket scientist to figure out the solution. One server goes one way, the other server goes the other, but you will still be left with HALF of each server being upset!

Free one-time bidirectional character transfers addresses that. Perfectly.

    Problem solved.

This needs to happen. It is the best solution.

Will some players here and there get hurt? Get upset? Probably. Will LJ become "worse" in their eyes by their metrics for what they consider a "successful" server? Possibly.

    Irrelevant.

The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few, or the one.

The plan you announced, coupled with the free transfers, is so obviously the best solution to heal this fractured community.

Yes there will be repercussions. There are to every change. To say you know what they are or will be is ludicrous. Whatever they are, we'll deal with them at a later time, if necessary.

But right now, this is what needs to happen, as all available data at this points leads to this being the best solution at this time.

    Make it so!

Bonus question: how many Star Trek references in this post? ;-)

Um, you lost me at this opener, since Lockjaw came out 1 week after Ragefire. So painful.
